My First

Hello strange world out there. I feel the need to introduce myself to you; I mean, it's not very often that I put myself before you, so I might as well be thorough about it. My name is Jayne Nellie LeDosquet--Jayne like Jane Austen or Jane Eyre, but much more original due to the stylistic y, Nellie like Nelly Fertado (if you remember who that is) or the rapper, and LeDosquet like, well like a sound you've probably never heard before so I'll put it out there for you phonetically: Luh-Duh-Skay. Very good. You now can pronounce something in French.
Well I guess the small talk basics about me are that I'm an English major hopefully going into teaching, so if I make a lot of mistakes, please forgive me.  I promise my grammar will improve before I teach your child the ABC's.  I'm the youngest of five kids.  I've lived in five states, and currently I'm from Rifle, Colorado even though I'm going to school in Utah.
Whew!  Now that the awkward introductions are over with, I can get on with more interesting matters--more or less what this whole blog is going to eventually be about.  I have to admit that I'm pretty much banking on the fact that the only people who'll probably be reading at least this post will be either my friends who are bored or my family who are obligated.
I guess the motif of this entire blog can be discovered through the title, which I decided upon while listening to Lost and Found by Katie Herzig, so I'm not claiming the name as my own.   I suppose though that it is how I feel most of the time.   A lot of times, I'm lost.  Or, at least I feel lost.  Constantly, I am being found, which is true, but enough with my metaphysical ponderings.  I mainly like the idea of a lost and found—a place where eclectic objects find each other, and the only thing they have in common is the fact that they are lost.
That would be what this blog is going to be about.  I have many different interests, and sometimes they don't really make much sense to me, but I want to write about them all.  One post may be about poetry and the next a memoir about bear hunting in Alaska.  This will be my lost and found—the place where all the ends of my life will come together and form the outline of my being.
